The normal cost of electrolysis would be in the range of $75 and $125 per hour of treatment. The amount one has to pay can vary depending on the area that needs to be treated and the number of sessions required. In any case, the norm would be to either pay by the hour or purchase a package and pay a flat fee upfront.

Cheaper than Laser and Light Treatment

A typical hairline electrolysis using the Gior technique with a procedure that lasts for three to seven hours would cost between $150 and $600 which is cheaper when you compare it with laser and light that cost around $2,500! On the other hand, if you want electrolysis of the eyebrows, using the Gior technique that lasts from between two to five hours you can expect to pay from $180 to $450.

For treating sideburns with the Gior technique that lasts for between two and eight hours you can expect the cost of electrolysis to amount to between $180 and $700 whereas the cost of laser and light for around three hours to a day is approximately $3,000!

Cost Effective Permanent Solution

This shows that electrolysis treatment can be used on different parts of the face and body and the cost of electrolysis is generally reasonable and more or less similar to what other health care procedures cost. In fact, being a permanent solution, the cost of electrolysis can actually be more cost effective than temporary methods that may end up costing you more over a long period of time.

The cost of electrolysis depends on a number of factors including the experience of the technician or doctor, his or her education as well as level of ability. Keeping in mind your own health, the objective for you should be to get quality treatment rather than consider the cost of electrolysis as the main factor. This is especially pertinent because you generally get what you pay for.

Most electrolysis clinics have different prices for each part of the human body and the cost of electrolysis will also vary in the case of men and women. For facial electrolysis, the time taken would be between 100 and 400 hours depending on the type of electrolysis. However, you need not pay all of the cost of electrolysis at one time as the cost is generally spread over a number of years as it is easy to spend $100 per week than to zap $12,000in one go.
