We first saw Doc at the age of 3 months at an ARBA show in Dallas. He was there with his breeders, Colleen and Robert Gott of Paragon Kennels and was not for sale. By the time the show was over they knew he had a home in Michigan any time they said the word. Doc came to live with us at the age of 6 1/2 months. He is a plush coated black and cream dog who was born 12/28/97 and carries the MAW line. He is 29 1/2 inches tall and weighs 115#. His sire is bCH Betterways Tribute to Sasquach, TT, OFA, and his dam is abiCH Lady's Abby of Better Ways. Doc made his debut in the show ring in January of 2000 and in one weekend earned 14 points and both majors. He finished his Breed Club Championship at his next show in July, followed by his ARBA championship in September.
Doc has many attributes that we feel will be a great addition to the breed. He has a beautiful head and well defined stop with very strong ears and wonderful dark eyes, full dentition, compact and tight feet, a great deal of presence, and a faultless disposition. He has good size (29 1/2"), good bone, a free and easy gait, and a medium-soft temperament with loads of confidence and intelligence. He received a rating of OFA Good on his hips at 18 months of age and is a healthy and sound dog in mind and body. He is available for breeding to approved bitches.
